Happy Monday to you all!
Well I know people say that all we talk about in the UK is the weather, but when you have such bizarrely unseasonal weather as we have been suffering just recently, I think we’re entitled!
I am excited to say, however, that I am sitting here writing this blog post and I’m not wearing a jumper. Yes, you read that right–my arms are bare! Finally we are seeing a bit of sunshine and sky-high temperatures almost touching 20 degrees Celsius. I know, let’s not get too crazy.
I was away with my OH at the end of last week. For Christmas, I bought him a driving experience at Silverstone, and he booked it in for Friday 17 May. We turned it into a weekend away, also visiting my brother who lives in Reading as Friday was his birthday. All in all we had a lovely time, and my OH got to drive a Ferrari 360 Modena, so everyone is happy!
Preparations for the launch of Red Threads are also going well. I now have a definite launch date, rather than the slightly more ambiguous “June”. I have planned a cover reveal for 5 June, and the book will be launched a week later, on Wednesday 12 June.
I have advance copies ready–ebook only at this stage–so if anyone would like a free copy in exchange for an honest review, please let me know. (You can send me an email through the contact page, tweet me, or email me directly if you have my address.) Let me know what ebook format you would prefer, too.
On that note, I might go and take myself and my laptop outside. Who knows how long the sunshine will last for–I should probably make the most of it!
Have a good week :-)
